Second Grade Supply List

  • 40 #2  PAPERMATE pencils (just those plain yellow ones, please don’t send novelty pencils, all pencils will go into community use, I will send 2 to ART.)

  • 24 box of crayons

  • 2- spiral notebooks (Spelling, Journal)

  • 3 packs of wide ruled notebook paper

  • Fiskers scissors

  • 5 Elmer's Glue sticks

  • Small pencil pouch that will fit in the desk

  • A book bag without wheels (second grade does not send home textbooks, the only books in there will be the BEE Book and library books)

  • a thumb or flash drive to store your child's work

 

  • BEE Books: This year I am building the BEE Books and parents will pay for them in the first week of school ($6.00). These are our organizational/ communication notebooks that are to come to school and go home every day.  This is a very important part of our daily routine!!!! 

1 Mrs. Salge has requested 2 pencils (I will send from those you send in) a 10 pack of broad tip Crayola Markers, and a pink eraser  Community Use Donations:

  • 3 rolls of  paper towels

  • 2 boxes of tissues

  • 1 hand sanitizer

  • 3 reams of white copier paper

Please consider sending in one or two the the following items:

  • 1 pack of Clorox wipes (to clean the desks) or 1 box Baby Wipes (to clean the students)

  • 1 Lysol spray

  • a box of zip loc bags either snack, quart, gallon, or the extra large size

  • pack of napkins to take with us to the cafeteria at lunch time

    In the past I have used money the state has given teachers to purchase needs we have in our classrooms or money parents donated to my classroom account to pay for Brain Pop Jr., Weekly Reader, and other instructional programs that are important to enriching our day.  This year we are not getting money from the State Department of Education, so, as much as I hate to ask parents to contribute to these items I am going to do so:

    BEE Books- $6.00

    Weekly Reader- $6.00

    Brain PopJr- $7.00  font>

     

Items we could use for enrichment activities:

colored copier paper

cover stock paper

all sizes of Ziploc baggies: snack, quart, gallon, extra large size

white lunch bags

small and regular sized paper plates

 

 

 

 

 

Items WE do not need at school:

toys

big pencil boxes that don't fit in lockers or desks
